Speak with Impact

Your ability to communicate clearly and effectively is a limiting factor in this life. We are designed to be relational creatures and live in community, accomplishing things together. Therefore, you must become a master of communication.

Sometimes you may have to fight against ingrained politeness, which often neuters your ability to convey what you really feel or think. This does not give you free rein to be rude; however, it does require you to be thoughtful and courageous. The inability to convey things freely leads to frustration, undesirable outcomes, and even an inaccurate portrayal of yourself.

Be thoughtful and honest. Be bold and direct but do so with compassion and empathy. Be kind and authentic. Never stop refining and improving this skill, as it will dictate your reach as a leader, your impact as a father, friend, brother, and determine the intimacy you experience in every relationship of your life.
