Power and Virtue
Power is a necessary but dangerous tool. Without it, you are, by definition, powerless. To make a change, you must have it and use it wisely. Mere words are not enough. You must have the competence to execute in your own life, in business, or in society.
Many have wielded power recklessly in self-serving, unjust ways. Standing on the sidelines complaining will do nothing to fight such tyrants. You must gain power to make a change, and you must do so in an honorable and virtuous way (lest you too become a tyrant).
Do not be afraid to pursue power. Seek it out. Use it properly for a greater good. Start small and gain the power you need to make the necessary changes in your own life first.
Note that many of those in history who have made the world a better place had to gain power, and all of them did so by empowering others.
