Deconstructing Chaos
"In the midst of movement and chaos, keep stillness inside of you." — Deepak Chopra
When the restlessness within you becomes too overwhelming, seek solitude in the quietness of isolation. Calm the storm inside by slowly deconstructing each chaotic thought. Visualize plucking each one from the tornado of your mind and placing it before you to examine closely, uncovering its source of energy one by one.
If you find the effort to be overwhelming, take a break and exert yourself physically. Engage in brief, intense physical activity; through this exertion, your mind will narrow to just your breath, allowing you to reset and return to the necessary mental work.
When you resume your deconstructing effort, listen for guidance in the silence that may follow. While your storm may have passed, you might find yourself in the eye of this internal hurricane—calm yet needing to concentrate on the dissection of your thoughts. Even amidst tranquility, it is essential to keep inspecting the debris and moving forward.
