WORK HARD

Life is not easy. It was never intended to be. To think you will ever arrive at a state of “easy“ is delusional. Commit this reality to your heart and prepare your mind so as not to be surprised by your adversities. Equally, preparing your mind for the daily grind of life that is never ceasing.

Embrace the truth that you will be required to do work, hard work, every single day you are alive. You must work to pay bills, to put food on the table and a roof over your head. In all seasons, you must work to improve yourself: spiritually, mentally, and physically. Continuously working to grow. And when a new ambition or desire for something more arise within, you will require even more labor. Stopping means surrendering to life and throwing in the towel.

There are many variables that will confine you in your efforts and pursuits, some beyond your control (like time), but there is no limit to the effort you put forth. You can, and must, strive to always give more. Soon enough your time will be cut short and while you may not have completed your works, your efforts in your labor will be what define you.

Consider these realities as you go forward remembering that your life is made up of a collection of choices. Choose to move with a healthy urgency, choose to work tirelessly, and choose to have the courage, grit, and raw determination to give everything you have every single day.
