The Burden and Gift of Difficult Projects
“Challenges are what make life interesting, and overcoming them is what makes life meaningful.” — Joshua J. Marine
You may often attract challenging projects and/or difficult people. Perhaps this is where you get to use your unique skillset—or perhaps it is simply a burden to bear.
At times, these challenges feel like they limit your contributions elsewhere. But could they be the key to unlocking future opportunities?
Are you having fun? Do these challenges genuinely excite you each day? Consider what these experiences cost you. Are they helping you grow as a man, husband, father, or friend? Even when it feels like you're teaching others to build a house during a tornado, keep pushing forward. Fill your role and contribute as best you can.
Trust the process and give everything you have. While the answers may not come immediately, the journey through these questions will reveal them in due time.
