Stop Wishing, Start Doing

“Stop looking for angels and start looking for angles.” Ryan Holiday

We cannot just mean well; we have to be able to do well.

“Wish in one hand, shit in the other, see which one fills up first.” Stephen King, The Dark Tower

You will accomplish very little in this life if you do not become more knowledgeable and skilled. Whether it’s securing a dream job, earning a promotion, or changing a bad habit, wishing a thing into existence (no matter how righteous or just or good it may seem) never works. You must study, practice, learn, and take action to become savvy enough, competent enough to succeed. The graveyard is filled with well-meaning people. You desire more, so you must do more. Apply courage, grit, and discipline each day and get to work becoming the man you desire to be. Do not let your life be one of only hopes and dreams, but one of action and impact.
