Resilience Through Adversity
“Do not pray for an easy life, pray for the strength to endure a difficult one.” — Bruce Lee
What if you shifted the way you prayed? Instead of asking for challenges to be removed from your path, what if you prayed for the strength to face them head-on? What if, instead of seeking an easy way out, you asked for discernment to see the situation more clearly, or wisdom to navigate it with greater understanding?
Rather than praying for the storm to pass, ask for the stamina and resilience to carry you through the storm. Perhaps God’s work through you is most powerful when you’re at your weakest, when you lean into His strength rather than seeking a miracle to escape the trial.
Life will present storms. It’s not always about avoiding them but about becoming strong enough to endure them, emerging on the other side with greater character and faith.
