Question Everything

“The unexamined life is not worth living.” – Socrates

What seems simple and clear at first glance often warrants deeper exploration. Accepting surface-level understanding as sufficient denies you the richness of deeper truth. Common wisdom may offer a starting point, but it is rarely enough.

What is good, just, or wise? Just because society accepts certain definitions does not make them inherently right.

Seek to understand what seems absolute or universal. Challenge conventional definitions and explore further before accepting anything as truth. Dogmatic positions based on tradition or authority demand scrutiny. Failing to question them means surrendering the narrative of your life to others, allowing external forces to define your path. You are not to be enslaved.

Your journey is unique, one that will make sense only to you—even when it remains partially veiled. While maxims and quotes can inspire, they cannot replace true understanding. Do not rely solely on the wise words of others; stake your claim. Leave a legacy that not only offers words for posterity but sets an example worth following. Question everything.
