Embrace Gratitude

Do not be ashamed when you experience waves of gratefulness. These may come upon you unexpectedly, and it is good to feel and experience overwhelming appreciation. Let your ego sit and observe that what has been accomplished is not solely due to your own efforts. Acknowledge your humble place.

It is good to act without hesitation on this emotion and give thanks to those who come to mind. Whether it be God, friends, family, a coworker, or even a stranger or an enemy, a simple note or a few words will go far. Many times this internal prompt is not even about you (stay seated, ego!), but a higher power calling you into action for the benefit of someone else. Do not deny this. Instead, swim with the current of the universe, and you will witness the outward ripple which reaches beyond what you can see or hear.

To yourself, in the quiet space of your mind, thank your enemies and those who have tried to cause you harm. This too creates a great ripple throughout the universe while freeing you from certain unseen forces that work to hold you back.
