Beyond the Summit

Hidden or False Summits

Some may reach a peak and become deflated upon realizing that their work is not done. What was perceived as the summit, the finish line, only reveals that another mountain must be climbed. You, however, are unmoved in these moments. What might cause a moment of discontent for others—realizing they had not yet reached the summit—only fuels your determination.

For you, the journey, the work, and your undying curiosity thrive on the hope for false summits. This means the journey is not over, and you get to continue on. Even if you were to reach a true peak, your eyes would immediately search the horizon for the next distant mountain to climb.

Remain of this mindset: look not toward the relief of a summit, but towards the excitement and anticipation of the new challenges that await you. The journey itself is the true summit, and your hunger for growth and exploration will always uncover more peaks to conquer.
