Beyond An Offense

Life is too brief to be consumed with bitterness or resentment. Forgive and move forward quickly, freeing yourself from the chains of offense—whether real or imagined. Don’t allow grievances, big or small, to tether you when your focus should be on something far greater.

You’ve caused your share of grief for others, often unintentionally. So, what harm is there in forgiveness? Are you not moving toward something higher, beyond these petty distractions? Life already demands so much of your energy—why waste it on foolish offenses?

Choose not to carry the burden of small grievances. Let these irritations shrink to insignificance, consuming none of your time or mental energy. In doing so, your mind becomes less prone to unhealthy thoughts.

There will be a time for reckoning… but that time is not now.

“To be wronged is nothing, unless you continue to remember it.” – Confucius
