what if you lacked…

“The only thing worse than not having knowledge is not having the confidence to use it.” – Unknown

Think again about the qualities you admire most in others and ask yourself: What if you could never attain them? Would it matter?

Consider articulateness—if you could never communicate clearly, would it affect your life? Yes. Without a strong vocabulary, your own understanding would be limited, and your ability to convey thoughts effectively would suffer. Ideas, no matter how profound, would be lost in translation.

Consider confidence—if you lacked it, would it impact your growth? Absolutely. Without confidence, you would remain stuck in theory rather than stepping into practice. You would never fully experience life, held back by fear and hesitation.

If the absence of these traits, (or any others) would limit your growth, then their pursuit is not optional—it is necessary.

Sit and think about the required characteristics to become the person you desire to be. Don’t be satisfied with the mere spectacle of a thing you admire in another person. Put it through the paces and ensure you are clear on what you want to embody, why it’s important, and what will happen if you do nothing.
