The Only Entitlement: Working Harder

You are entitled to only one thing in this life: to work hard. If you ever find yourself contemplating whether you've done enough or if you're entitled to take it easy, swiftly remind yourself of one simple truth: work harder.

Nobody cares if you think you've done enough. Nobody cares about your past accomplishments or how much you worked yesterday. The reality is, you'll never truly be done working in this life. So, instead of pointing to a long list of completed tasks, focus on what needs to be done today.

External validation is unnecessary. You don't need others to approve or validate your efforts. Your sole task is to get back to work and do your job. Avoid the trap of virtue signaling or seeking approval from others. Their opinions of your efforts are irrelevant.

Your entitlement lies in the commitment to work harder, to tackle each task with diligence and determination. So, instead of seeking recognition or validation, focus on the work at hand and strive to give it your best effort every single day.
