Embracing Transition
"Goodbyes are only for those who love with their eyes. Because for those who love with heart and soul there is no such thing as separation." – Rumi
Consider death for what it truly is: a moment of transition? It is a natural event that marks the end of one phase of your journey and the beginning of the next. Rather than fearing it as a finality, perceive it as an inflection point in the grand scheme of existence.
Yes, your physical body will eventually expire, as is the natural process of all living things. But this expiration is necessary for your spirit and soul to be liberated and continue their journey beyond the confines of your current form. If this is a natural part of our journey, why do you fear it?
Consider the sunset each evening – the sun disappears below the horizon without evoking fear, knowing that it will rise again in the morning. Similarly, a tree returns to the forest floor at the end of its life, embracing the natural cycle of life and death without resistance.
So it is with you – you were born into this body for a brief time, during which your soul resides within it. But soon, your soul will be free to explore realms beyond your current understanding. Instead of fear, let curiosity, excitement, and great anticipation accompany your thoughts of death.
You will know soon enough what lies beyond. Until then, embrace your current form and find peace in the knowledge that all things surrender to death, marking the beginning of a new journey.
