Process Matters

"Satisfaction lies in the effort, not in the attainment. Full effort is full victory." - Mahatma Gandhi

Examine your approach to tasks and goals. Do you prioritize the process or fixate solely on the results? While accomplishments are important, true fulfillment lies in the effort put forth, not just in the attainment of goals.

Evidence of your character is found not only in what you do but also in how you do things. While striving for success, it's equally essential to consider the manner in which these actions are carried out.

There is a dichotomy here and you must be careful not to be seduced by the mere act of "trying your best." While effort is commendable, the true essence lies in pursuing the right things with a process that aligns with your true character. Imperfect as it may be: a virtuous, consistent, and mindful pursuit is required.

However, your mere attempts are not enough. Results matter too. These results are the evidence of your progress: proof of this process of trial and error, moving forward while leaving a trail of breadcrumbs that testify to your character. While not everything attempted may be accomplished, it's essential to find meaningful achievements that contribute to the grand story of your life.

Remember, you're not seeking a participation trophy but aiming for significant contributions. Strive for a balance between the process and results, ensuring that your actions reflect not only accomplishment but also virtuous character. Invest fully in the process and trust that the results will come.
