Never Settle

To be uncommon, by definition, is to see, think, and act differently. Common is easy, safe, and even boring. If you truly desire to live an uncommon life, you must have courage, grit, and be prepared to fail many times. It will be hard and messy, and you will get hurt along the way. Your journey will take you past many who have gone before you with the same ambitions—those who became tired or too weak to keep going. Some foolish ones will have set up residence along the path, convinced they've arrived and now settle in, having done the work.

The wise understand that an uncommon life means never settling. There will always be continuous progress, going on without ceasing until their last breath slips from their lungs.
