Effective Over EFFICIENT

“There is nothing so useless as doing efficiently that which should not be done at all.” – Peter Drucker

Do not fall into the trap of thinking that simply doing what you’re already doing more efficiently is the key to growth. Efficiency is meaningless if what you're doing isn't effective.

Before optimizing anything, first determine what actually matters. What is the most impactful use of your time, energy, and focus? Evaluate your current activities, question their value, and be willing to experiment with new approaches. Do not hold onto legacy actions or behaviors simply because they are familiar or easy.

Once you’ve identified the most effective actions—the ones that truly drive results—then make them as efficient as possible. Constantly assess, refine, and eliminate what no longer serves you.

Be cautious of attachment. Just because you’re good at something, or it comes easily, does not mean it is the best thing to do. Effectiveness may require more effort, more discomfort, and more change—but it will always trump efficiency.

Move with intention. Do what matters first. Then do it better.
