Daily Integrity

“We are what we repeatedly do; therefore, excellence is not an act but a habit.” — Aristotle

“Habitual thoughts are the character of the mind.” — Marcus Aurelius

“He who gathers money little by little makes it grow.” — Proverbs 13:11

Day by day, your small acts build the body of evidence of your character as you exhibit your integrity with the thoughts you choose to entertain. If you desire to be extraordinary, uncommon, great, then form habitual thoughts of the like. Thoughts to the contrary align you with mediocrity. Greatness is not achieved overnight and, if examined closely, never in a single moment. Daily you must consider which fire are you fueling inside? Which dog are you feeding? The dog that’s in the fight for you or the dog the aims to rob you of your potential. Both are at your feet ready to be fed. Pour into that inner dog, the inner wolf, that aims to propel you forward and starve out the one that is eating at your soul with fear and hesitations.
